The Winter Blues

Darn, it's only February - gonna be about 3 months before anything starts cookin' again.

I had hoped some of our readers would submit stories, projects or news over the winter months, but I'm afraid that has not happened - perhaps we're just too new. If any of you have anything to submit, please feel free to do so.

I have begun putting together the 2008 calendar. While I have not been able to drum up a lot of stuff yet (most sponsors still do not have any schedule put together yet), I will keep collecting and adding data. If you know of any shows, cruises or events that are not yet posted, please submit as much info as you can, and I will get it up.

Back in December a bunch of us got together for a Christmas party at Two Trails Fabulous 50's Diner in Standish Maine. We had a good time, with good friends and good food. And Gibbs was presented with a huge trophy of his own, for a change. The plaque read "Two Trails Fabulous 50's Diner, Best Cruise Night Host, from The Gang, 2007". Gibby was surprised, to say the least. Gibbs has done so much for us car folk, and has never asked anything in return. If anyone deserved a trophy, he's the one!

Well, I cannot promise to blog a lot for the next few weeks, as there is too little to write about during the winter. But I will try to keep you all up to date.
