Our Heartfelt Condolences

Many of you have met Jim's sister Beth at some of the car shows and some of you already know this cause you were there when the call came in,. Anyway Beth passed away on Friday Jan. 14th 2011 after a battle with Cancer.

ROCHESTER — Elizabeth Dalziel Cook, 49, of Rochester, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2011, at the Hyder Family Hospice House. She was born Jan. 19, 1961, in Pawtucket, R.I., the daughter of James and Nina (Lepuschenko) Peacock.

Beth had been an obstetrical registered nurse at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for 10 years. Previously she worked in the labor and delivery units at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire and Hunt Hospital in Danvers, Mass.

Beth loved spending time with her husband and son and always brought extended family and friends together for cookouts at the pool. Some of her favorite activities were attending Nathan's cross-country meets and plays, going to the beach, spending time with her friends and picking lilacs in the spring.

Members of her family include her husband of 25 years, Jeffrey Cook of Rochester; her son, Nathan Cook of Rochester; brothers, James Peacock and his wife, Connie, of Maine and William Peacock of Maine; sisters, Jessie Thompson and her husband, Col. Charles Thompson of Alaska and Robin Beasley of Rochester; nephews, Brian Thompson and Ryan Pierce.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
